GDP up by 0.6 pct in both euro area and EU

BRUSSELS, Dec 7 (KUNA) — GDP rose by 0.6 percent in both the euro area and the EU during the third quarter of 2017, compared with the previous quarter, according to an estimate published by Eurostat, the EU statistical office, Thursday.
In the second quarter of 2017, GDP grew by 0.7 percent in both areas, it noted. (end)
